Last October 22, there was a worldwide celebration of the Windows 7 Launch. It is interesting that although Philippines is not included as an option at the House Party website, still I found my way through and was the only approved party host here. Of course, other Filipino Windows enthusiasts also held a Windows 7 Community Launch led by Jojo Ayson together with the Philippine Windows User Group at the Microsoft Office at Ayala.
My preparations began when I received the Party Pack shipped by the House Party fulfillment that contained Windows 7 branded loot bags, table napkins, puzzle, poster and Windows 7 64Bit and 32Bit OS Signature Edition.
About 15 confirmed at my Launch Party Web Site invitation, of which 10 actually came and is enough to fit in my home. I prepared 3 laptops for them, 2 of which was installed with Windows 7 64Bit and one with Windows 7 32Bit.

My wife and some friends helped us with the food and wines while my 2 kids entertain the other guests. It was a night filled with getting-to-know new friends, learning some Windows 7 features, warm conversations, great food, making your own pizza, watching my baby do a break dance stance.

And before the night ended, everyone formed a big circle around the wine bottle and agreed that to whom the bottle points to when it halts, he/she will be the lucky one to take home the Windows 7 OS Signature Edition. So congratulations to Mhai and also my gratitude to everybody who made the party all fun!
